flo. literary magazine is open for submissions!

flo. literary magazine is seeking fiction, nonfiction, and poetry that engages with notions of movement as “an act of changing physical location or position or of having this changed.” In other words, we’re looking for writing that touches on the physicality of movement, as in: journey, adventure, getting from point A to B, transportation. Submissions close November 30th . We pay 40 CAD per page up to 4 pages (160 CAD). Apt. 9 Press has published two new titles to round out 2023: concussion, baby by Ellen Chang-Richardson Learning to Crawl (and other poems) by Beth Follett Both are available through our online store , and will be sold in-person at the Meet the Presses Indie Literary Market (November 4, Toronto) and the Ottawa Small Press Book Fair (November 18, Ottawa). Other 2023 titles and available backlist will be for sale too.
